Hello everyone!
Another week down, another new student joined us; I would like to welcome Rithika Krishnakumar, who was a little nervous at the start, but all her classmates were kind and supportive made her feel comfortable and a part of the class.
In IPC, we continued to explore planet earth; this week, we looked at biomes, the students are researching different biomes and making presentations around these. Also, we looked at the structure of the earth with each child making a paper model with information about each part.
In maths, the students worked on mental maths strategies, timetables, factors, and multiples; we played some fun games to help us remember our maths facts.
This week in English, we continued our work around portal stories; the students looked at different objects that could be a portal to a new world and wrote about them before moving on to writing setting descriptions.
