Over the last few weeks in art, the F1 and Y1 students have learned about emotion and art.
We talked about how many feelings people have and represented the variety of feelings through facial expressions.
They then matched the correct picture to the correct facial expression.
They learned about the masterpiece “scream” by Edward munch.
And copied the expression in the painting with their own face and coloured the background.
Over the last few weeks in art, the F2 and F3 students have learned about emotion and art.
We talked about how many feelings people have and represented the variety of feelings through facial expressions.
Also they explored the masterpiece “happy tears” by Liechtenstein.
They shared their feelings of the picture and, after discussion drew their own rendition of the picture
After they completed their drawing we had appreciation time.
There was lots of fun and laughter to see different type of styles represented from the same picture.
The Y4-Y6 Students have learned about “landmarks” in the world.
We discussed many landmarks in the world that we know.
And they discussed which is the most impressive to them.
After viewing the landmarks online they researched one specific landmark each.
And they created a summary of their understanding, including detailed information and finally a presentation about it.
The Y7-Y9 Students have learned about “landmarks” in the world.

The F1-Y9 Students made a kite for the Lunar new year activity.
They decorated and coloured the kite. They also wrote their new year wishes on it.
After completing it, they flew their kites with their wishes. It was quite a fun time.
Also each class have made some crafts using Korean traditional pattern such as hair band, accessory, cup coaster.
