Sports Afternoon

We will have our sports afternoon on May 4th beginning at 1:30 pm.  All parents are welcome.

Newsletter 2017/18 Term 3 Week 1

Dear Parents,

 

We had super first week back after a two week Spring Break!  Students came back well rested and eager to learn and explore new ideas.  I find it refreshing to see the passion and enthusiasm in our students each day.  Parents should be very proud.

After School Activities

The first week of activities was a real success.  Students are still visiting the office asking to sign up for various activities.  Parents can sign up for the activities at the following link

 

Assembly Monday

Mr. Kearney’s class has been working very hard organizing the assembly with the theme, “Protecting Us From Germs.” There will be a parade following the assembly.  All parents are welcome!

PTA Readers

We want to thank the PTA members who have volunteered to read to classes next week.  Parents will enter classes each day to read to the students.  Our students in year 7-9 will also be entering classes to read to their younger colleagues.

Term 1 Rising Star Football Club

Rising Star Football Club Term 1.

Any student who is interested in soccer may join the class run in English.
Korean school students can join as well.

* Especially, everyone is welcome to the open/trial sessions at the  Hanmaeum Center Futsal on the school 5:50 – 7:00 pm on Tuesday 28th and Thursday 30th August.

1. Coaches: Roberto and Philip

2. Classes: 28th August– 13th December 5:50– 7:00pm every Tuesday and Thursday at the Hanmaeum Center Futsal pitch 한마음회관 풋살장. 
The classes will be finalized by the sign ups.

Newsletter 2017/18 Term 3 Starts

Dear Parents,

We hope you had restful and productive holiday with family.  We are all very excited about the upcoming term.  The following are just a few reminders:

Day 1

First day of term 3 will be on April 16th.  To view what exciting things the children will be doing in the 3rd term, see link.

After School Activities

New After School Activities will begin on Monday April 16th.  If you have not signed your child up for an activity, please do so now at this link!  There is no limit how many activities a student can sign up for.  If they want, they can stay everyday for an activity!  

Coffee with the Principal

We will have coffee for parents with the Principal on Tuesday April 17th at 9:05 am in the playground.  

Books

Students should bring the book they were so kindly given by the PTA at the final assembly to school on Monday.  Students will be sharing their books with their mentor during mentoring time Monday afternoon.

Checkpoint Exam

Students in Year 6 and Year 9 will be writing the Checkpoint exam April 17-19th.  If you have any questions, please direct them to Mr. Munden.

Bus

Some families who have recently moved off the compound may need to use our bus service. Please contact our office for information. 

We look forward to another successful term.  I have an, “Open Door Policy,”  where parents are welcome to see me anytime if you have any questions or concerns.
