Our first Newsletter sent via email has been rather successful. The HFS admin team will likely be using this method as our primary communication method shortly so we ask that if you haven’t yet, please subscribe. You can subscribe at any time on the school website (or by clicking here) and unsubscribe by clicking the link at the bottom of each email. Please remember that we will use this system to notify the community about important information (such as school closures) so we ask that you stay subscribed while your child attends HFS.

Also st week our Year Ones also had an exciting trip to the Ulsan Botanical Gardens where they had the opportunity to study some local plant varieties and get up-close and personnel with some exotic wildlife!la

This Week

This Friday is our annual Science fair.  I’ve been quite impressed so far with the effort and enthusiasm all those involved in the fair are showing and I know that Mr Munden and I are keen to see the results!

Students from Year 1-9 will all be given a chance to visit the fair and discuss the experiments with our student scientists. EYC students, parents and members of the community are all welcome to come and visit the fair after school hours on Friday until 5:30.

For more information please visit Mr Munden’s original post here.

Looking Ahead

Parent Consultation Night is scheduled for next Tuesday, May 24th. We will be sharing our progress on current goals (as set out by the school Charter), and answer questions regarding the Parents and Students policies and staffing for the coming 2016-17 academic year.

We’d also greatly appreciate it if you took the time to complete HFS Parents and Students Policy Reviews. You can complete the following surveys here:

  1. Parents Policy Review
  2. Students Policy Review

All our policies are also available for download on the school webpage here.
