The Y7-9 students had a great creating their own pointillism paintings. To deepen their understanding of the technique and the artist Seurat, I gave them some questions to research. With their newfound knowledge, the students will create individual PowerPoint presentations to share what they found. During presentation time, everyone will have the chance to learn from their classmates and ask questions. As a follow-up project, we will explore pointillism further by creating a collaborative portrait using the technique.
