Welcome to this week’s newsletter. I hope you enjoyed happy and fun-filled New Year celebrations with family and friends. The coming weeks will be very busy at HFS with assessments (more details of these will be included in next week’s newsletter), Book Week, International Week and Parent / Teacher conferences all before the end of March. School library
We have many new and exciting books in the school library. We have created new book sections including a Senior Fiction area for Year 7-9 students and a Sophisticated Picture Book section for Year 5-9 students. We also have a variety of new titles throughout the library including picture books for junior students. We hope you enjoy reading and sharing these books at home with your children. Please do ask your child’s class teacher if you would like any help or advice about supporting reading at home.
A polite reminder that lunches and snacks must be packed in plastic, shatter-proof containers to ensure the safety of all our students. Thank you for your help with this.
