Hello everyone!
Welcome back and I hope everyone had an enjoyable Chuseok break! Now the students are back at the hard work and new challenges.
In maths, this week the students have started work on calculation, looking at column addition and subtraction, we used counters to help show regrouping.
For English, we have started looking at nonfiction, we are learning a new text with actions that will help us throughout the unit. So far, we have also come up with the actions, created a glossary, identified features, and wrote a script for a role play.
During IPC, this week the students had great fun with Mr. Morgan looking at how the pyramids were made before making their own. They also have researched different Pharaohs, looking at their achievements, how they changed Ancient Egypt and what they were like as a ruler.
