Another exciting week here in London Class as the students have a lot of fun exploring the current Topics in each subject. It is with regret that must announce that a planned trip to Busan Aquarium must be canceled due to the sudden spike in Coronavirus cases, the school is also putting in additional measures to keep children safe and details of this can be in the newsletter.
In maths this week the students have looked at properties of 3D shapes, part of this meant using nets to create 3D shapes as well as drawing their own nets and problem-solving.
In Science, the students spent their time looking at plants, we went over the different parts of plants and flowers, next they created life cycles of flowering and nonflowering plants. The students ended the week by being given a mushroom kit so that they can grow fungi, they will look after them over the next few weeks and observe any changes. Next week the students will look at what fungi are and how they are different from plants and animals.
Next week the students will begin writing their newspaper reports in English as homework the students will need to finish their plan for Monday’s lesson.
That’s all for this week, have a great weekend.
