Another busy week in London class has flown by, this week has been filled with lots of great learning experiences. As mentioned last week we had a special guest join us for the week. Max was only here for a short time but made some good friends and had a great impact on the class. It is sad to lose him, but I wish him all the best for the future and good luck at your next school, wherever that may be.
Our work on forces in science continued this week as we looked at balanced and unbalanced forces. To do this I took the class to the hall and the students demonstrated balanced and unbalanced forces by doing a tug of war. After that, we returned to the class to draw a diagram of what we just did and write an explanation about balanced and unbalanced forces.
In geography, the class worked in groups to create a presentation that explained what causes different climates around the world. They had a cause to research and create a slide for so everyone contributed well.
We had an wonderful end to the week with our Year 3 -9 trip to Ulsan Promenade Festival, this was a great cultural experience and the children got to watch two fantastic performances. The children had a great time I think they’d all agree that the second performance was the best, we were entertained by a circus drawing group that made everyone laugh. If the weather stays nice this weekend the festival would be well worth a visit.
Have a great weekend everyone!
