What a week we have had! Things kicked off, on Monday, with an excellent trip to Ulju Mountain Film Festival. Whilst there, the students watched an animation movie and after that, they got to experience tree climbing and enjoy a Yeongnam Alps Virtual Reality. The tree climbing was definitely the highlight of the trip, as children showed great resilience and athleticism to reach the top (some found it easier than others).
On Tuesday we had our class pictures taken, which was a lot of fun (see the evidence below).
Through this week the children have been delving deeper into out topic of Discovery. In History, the children went back and looked at the impact their explorer had, positive and negative. In Geography, they researched different types of settlements and how they are defined. In Science, we looked at linear and nonlinear discoveries and how to create a fair test. Below, is the history work they completed; they had to annotate a map of the explorer’s voyage.
