Welcome back everyone at the end of a very wet and windy week.
This week the students have been thinking about the difference between weight and mass and the formula for calculating pressure. To help to get to grips with the new concepts, the students had to design their own experiments to answer a question about pressure.
The students were able to design experiments which would provide accurate and comparable data however the experiment did not allow them to answer their question. This is something we will be working on next week.
In English, the students have been developing their persuasive writing skills and in PE we had our first successful game of Touch Rugby.
The students should all be proud of how hard they have worked this term. Reports go out today, outlining in more depth how your son/daughter has done this term and Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place on Wednesday 28th March. Please make sure you have signed up for a slot using the sign-up sheet by the office. If you are unable to visit in person, you can phone the office and they will assist you in making an appointment.
Have a good weekend everyone.
