Another week down as we edge closer to the end of term 2. There is still so much to get through as the Year 6-9 class continue to work very hard.
In English, we have started a new unit about Shakespeare, to start this the students worked on a presentation to understand the context of his works. We also watched the Globe Theatre’s production of Romeo and Juliet to hook the students in.
The students have moved on to work on plotting coordinates this week, we played battleships to help us understand the four quadrants.
We used Lego to help bring History to life, the students created a scene and speeches to understand why the French people were unhappy in the late 18th Century leading to the revolution.
That’s all for this week, enjoy your long weekend and see you on Tuesday.
