A super busy week in the Year 6-9 class, here is what we have been up to.
We are coming to the end of our IMYC Unit ‘Adaptability’ and next week, the class we be starting their new IMYC Unit called ‘Structures’. In Science the students looked at endangered and extinct animals and how this links to animal’s adaptations. The students used tablets to scan QR codes to find out information. In Geography, the students looked at the people of the Amazon and how they use their surroundings to help them survive.
In English, the classroom was turned into a dystopian setting with propaganda posters, video, sounds, images, and wire fencing to help the, create a dystopian setting description.
That’s all for this week, have a great weekend!
