Week 13 Update

Hello, everyone!

The end of term is in sight, Christmas is almost here, we still have so much learning to do and lots of festive treats to look forward to. Don’t forget next week is our class trip to Onggi Village, please make sure the children are wearing their uniform and that they have a snack and packed lunch.

This week in English the students carried on their work around Haiku, we also had some fun and got creative with our poetry writing, using ‘Blackout Poetry’ and ‘Paint Chip’ techniques.

In maths, this week’s main focus has been fractions, the students worked on finding equivalent fractions, comparing, and ordering fractions. We will continue our work on fractions next week as we start to look at adding and subtracting fractions.

For IPC, the students have come to the end of the science aspect of our ‘Making New Materials Unit’. This week they conducted experiments to see if all metals are magnetic and separating mixtures using different processes. For the rest of the term, the students will focus more on history and technology to finish this unit off.

That’s all for this week have a great weekend!
