FS 1-2 Art – Term 3 Week 10

Finally, the FS1-2 friends’ ‘rainy day’ scenery was completed.
Wearing colourful raincoats, umbrellas, and boots, playing in the splashing rain, aren’t they so pretty?
After we finished the ‘Rainy Day’ painting, I read a book, ‘Little Cloud’ by Eric Carle and we observed how the shape of
the clouds continued to change. Then, we started like Eric Carle to shape the clouds and created the shapes we wanted to draw. It was a fun time using with paints.

This week was our last day of art in this term.
I would love to thank all the FS1-2 friends for working so hard during art class this year.
You guys are all super stars!
If you go traveling over the vacation, please have a safe journey and come back healthy.
I hope all of you have a great holiday and we will meet again next year.

Y 1-2 Art – Term 3 Week 10

Beep beep beep~
Can you hear the siren?
A red fire engine is blaring a siren and is rushing to put out the fire.
Today, we added realism by adding a scene where a fire is burning behind the fire truck we drew last time.
There are wonderful scenes where firefighters climbed a ladder up a high building and put out a fire, and turned on a light to check where the fire started.
Everyone did a great job, well done guys!

Y 3-5 Art – Term 3 Week 10

We had a special art class this week. We created a beautiful card for Mrs. Mila.

Mrs. Mila, who worked so hard as an EAL teacher at our school and as a library volunteer for two years,
is leaving for Malaysia.
We put our hearts into the card we created to show how thankful we are to her.

We made a pretty 3D card, and each flower made by each individual gathered to create a bouquet.

Mrs. Mila really liked it very much.

Well done, everyone!

FS 1-2 Art – Term 3 Week 9

This week, the FS1-2 friends drew a picture of a rainy day.
We talked about the feeling of a rainy day, the sound of raindrops, and what we should be prepared for when it rains.
After that, we drew pictures of us with pretty umbrellas, raincoats, and boots.
Next week, we are going to express the rain drops and puddles with paint.

Y 1-2 Art – Term 3 Week 9

Our awesome hot air balloon travel artwork is completed.
We had our imaginations take a trip to the cities with buildings from around the world that we had
learned about by imagining.
After that we drew a picture with the theme ‘fire truck’.
We sketched the fire truck, talking about what is contained in the fire truck driven by the firefighters
and what it takes to get up high to put out the fire.
It was amazing to observe the tools installed in the fire truck, such as lights, ladders, sirens, and hoses, which are necessary when the fire started in the dark and you cannot see well.
I wonder how wonderful it will be finished next week.

Y 3-5 Art – Term 3 Week 9

Today, we expressed the images we want to capture with photos.
There are pictures with funny poses like Renan Viana, and pictures that students want to keep
such as family and friends are expressed in pictures. Out of the five film boxes, three will be
represented by pictures, and the other two will be filled with photos.

Y 6-9 Art – Term 3 Week 9

The poster for ‘Salvador Dali’ has been completed. In my spare time, like the clock in Salvador Dali’s ‘Persistence of Memory’, we drew a picture with meaning in the melting clock by connecting themes using times in our memories.

Students’ own ‘Persistence of Memory’ were sketched with their own imaginations and dreams.
I am looking forward to how it will be completed.

FS 1-2 Art – Term 3 Week 7

In summer, we often go out to the beach.
We enjoy swimming, fishing, and boating in summer.
This week our friends made a paper boat, reminiscent of a boat floating at the cool beach.
We tore a piece of blue paper, attached a pretty wave shape, and put a folded paper boat on it.
After that, we drew pictures of what we would love to draw, like ocean animals.
Such a cool summer scene has been created!

Y 1-2 Art – Term 3 Week 7

Today, we boarded a hot air balloon and flew in the sky to go to the place we wanted to travel to.
We decided on the cities we wanted to visit and decided to fly there.
You can see landmarks of various cities such as France, New York, India and Italy that we learned about last term.
We drew our hot air balloons on a skyline background of the landmarks.
Now we can feel what it’s like traveling through the city on a colorful hot air balloon.
It’s not completed yet, but I think great works will be born.
Well done. Y1-2 friends~
