F2/Y1 Art – Term 3 Week 4

We can see beautiful butterflies and insects out of in the garden.

This week the F2-Y1 friends a created butterfly with craft materials.

We cut some of patterns we liked and put them in plastic bags then tied up them for making antenna. Then it turned into a beautiful butterfly!!

Y 2-3 Art – Term 3 Week 4

This week the Y2-3 children learned about printing.

Form board is very easy to carve with a pencil.

We sketched trees and carved and printed.

It was a lot of fun and good to have repeated images in the same design.

Y 4-5 Art – Term 3 Week 4

This week the Y4-5 children have completed their boomerangs.

They added different colour of stickers to their boomerangs and they look so cool.

Next project is about expressing aboriginal people’s faces.

We are going to describe their face painting, accessories and hair styles.

Y 6-9 Art – Term 3 Week 4

This week the Y6-9 children have completed their boomerangs.

They added different colour of stickers to their boomerangs and they look so cool.

F2/Y1 Art – Term 3 Week 3

Our topic this term is “Out of the garden” We are exploring and using techniques related the topic.

This week we used sand to create art.

Sand is soft to touch, and used in lots of sensory activities.

This sensory activity allowed the students to explore the texture of the sand

Also, we developed fine motor skills through grabbing the sand.

The F2-Y1 friends’ art work is all very artistic and looks fantastic.

Y 2-3 Art – Term 3 Week 3

Our topic this term is “Investigation”.

We are exploring and using techniques related to this topic.

This term we are going to use many materials and learn lots of new techniques.

This week we used sand to create art.

Y 6-9 Art – Term 3 Week 3

This week we finally completed our Aboriginal art.

Then we moved on to our next activity.

We made an aboriginal boomerang with origami.

It requires precision as we need to fold perfectly from corner to corner and side to side.

The children did so well and really focus on the activity.

Next week we are going to add some patterns or images.

Children are already so excited to be making their own boomerangs.

Y 2/3 Art – Term 3 Week 2

Y2-3 Students finished to design their daily schedules.

Now we could know how our daily routine is going on.
