The F2-Y1 friends picked the picture which our Mum looks like and drawing on Anthony Browne’s illustration.
Add we drew our names with oil pastels and painted over it making a card.
Y 2/3 Art – Term 2 Week 7
The Y2-3 students read one of Anthony Browne’s books ‘The Elephant Ernest’. We each chose one animal and sketched it.
All the kids sketched very delicately.

Y 4/5 Art – Term 2 Week 7
We talked about what was the most impressive part of Anthony Browne’s art exhibition.
Most of the Y4/5 students liked the book ‘ My Dad’.
They picked a page of the story they liked and sketched.
While they were sketching they looked Anthony Browne’s process for inspiration.
It was a meaningful time and we talked about not only the illustration but also how we love and think about our own daddy.
Y 6/9 Art – Term 2 Week 7
We talked about what was the most impressive part of Anthony Browne’s art exhibition. They chose aspects such as the gorilla, King-Kong, My dad and the Piggy book which are well-known for their illustrations.
After that they sketched the book cover of their favourite book among Anthony Browne’s children books.
It was a nice sketching time.
F2/Y1 Art – Term 2 Week 6
F2-Y1 kids had read some books of Anthony Browne. We looked at the illustrations and had a small talk about it. Based on the story they drew their mums on their own ways.

F2-Y1 Art – Term 2 Week 4
F2-Y1 Kids made doggy puppets this week.
We learned how to fold the paper. It was a bit tricky but everyone tried hard. And we drew eyes, a nose, a mouth and added ears and a tongue on it. In the end of the lesson we played with our doggy puppets.
It was so fun!!!
Y 2-3 Art – Term 2 Week 4
We have learned “Portrait relationship” this week.
We talked about individual relationships through visual images drawing portrait relationship and reflected on. In the end we took pictures of pairs posing as friends which we are going to draw next week. I am already looking forward our next lesson!! Well done, everyone!
