F2-Y1 Art – Term 2 Week 3

F2-Y1 kids created beautiful chameleons with various colours on the Ohp film last week. This week they drew the habitats where chameleons live and stay which we learned. Finally we completed our chameleons. Everyone is super star!! Great job!!

Y 2-3 Art – Term 2 Week 3

The Y 2-3 students have been learning about portrait.  They sketched a self-portrait in the style of Cubism last week. This week they coloured their abstract face with water colour paints. Well done!!

Y 4-5 Art – Term 2 Week 3

We have been learning about Vincent Van Gogh’s chair linked on IPC topic which is ‘Take a seat’. This week, students coloured their drawing with soft pastels and oil pastels. They all look amazing. All the students worked so hard and brought high quality work. Well done!!

F2-Y1 Art – Term 2 Week 2

This week F2-Y1 kids have learned about chameleons.

We talked about some fun facts about chameleons and how chameleons change colours.

After that we had created our own chameleons with various colours.

Y 2-3 Art – Term 2 Week 2

This week the Y 2-3 students have learned about Pablo Picasso’s life and his style of Cubism.  They created a self-portrait in the style of Cubism through the use of line, colour, and space.

Y4-5 Art – Term 2 Week 2

This week we have learned about Vincent Van Gogh’s chair. We talked about how old the chair is, what the chair was made of and talked about the history. After that time they described their own rustic wooden chair into their drawing.
