F2-Y1 Art – Week5 Update

The F2-Y1 students have completed their ‘scarecrow’ project. They have also painted a beautiful rice field for background. We really enjoyed the painting time. After that we were talking about a harvest and learned a variety of fruits and vegetables. They started to create a beautiful fruit basket their own.

Y2-Y3 Art – Week5 Update

The Y2-Y3 students have completed the project ‘Korean Autumn’. This week they have learnt how to make Autumn leaves and persimmon with origami. They have also been painting their trees with Autumn colour paints and made their collage tree. We had a lot of fun.

Y4-Y5 Art – Week5 Update

The Y4-Y5 students have learnt how to use a Korean traditional brush. They will also draw the word ‘Chuseok’ in Korean with a calligraphy brush. After practicing that they drew their Korean name too. The students were so focused and attentive. Well done, everybody!

Y6-Y8 Art – Week5 Update

The Y6-Y8 students completed their illustration. Their drawings show up exactly what Korean people do in Chuseok! Well done everyone!

F2-Y1 Art – Week4 Update

The F2-Y1 students have been learning about ‘Korean Autumn’. They have completed their ‘scarecrow’ and created a crow beside their scarecrow. They have also used a range of media and added their scarecrow’s costume. We are going to draw and express a beautiful rice field with paints next week.

Y2-Y3 Art – Week4 Update

The Y2-Y3 students have been learning about ‘Korean Autumn’. They have completed their ‘squirrel’ and they drew beautiful Autumn trees with colourful leaves They have also started to learn how to make autumn leaves with origami and practiced this. Next week we are going to paint the background.

Y4-Y5 Art – Week4 Update

The Y4-Y5 students have been learning about ‘Korean Autumn’. The students have completed a traditional lantern ‘ 청사초롱’ this week. All the students’ works is very creative and unique. Next week they are going to learn how to use a Korean traditional brush. They will also draw the word ‘Chuseok’ in Korean with a calligraphy brush. After practicing that we will draw other Korean words. It will be a very exciting and new experience for the Y4-Y5 students.
