Dear Parents,
There has been an instance of a child with hand-foot-and-mouth-disease reported at the school. It is not dangerous but it is a contagious virus and all staff have been instructed to ensure that children curb the spread by washing their hands regularly. If your child shows symptoms of the virus such as headaches or a fever please have them examined by a doctor immediately and, should your child be infected with the virus, it is important that you inform the school and they remain at home until it clears. Also note that adults can get the virus as well although not as severely. Thank you for your understanding.
