CIS Team Visit

This week we have welcomed a visiting team from the Council of International Schools. The team spent the whole week in school, visiting classrooms, holding meetings, and trying to get the best possible picture of our school. We are very grateful to the team for the way they engaged with our school community and the many interesting conversations we had.

At HFS we are very proud of our CIS-accredited status and the hard work that goes into ensuring that we meet the very highest standards of international education. The school will receive a report from CIS in about 8 weeks, highlighting our many strengths, as well as areas for further improvement.

I would also like to thank the parents who met with the CIS team for volunteering their time and also congratulate our students and teachers who spoke confidently and enthusiastically about their school.

HFS Relocation

The Chairman of the HFS Board has issued the following letter confirming that the school will relocate to a new site at the end of 2023. This is a very exciting prospect for our school and we will be working hard to ensure that the relocation process goes smoothly and that our new site is an amazing place for teaching and learning. We will of course be engaging with our community as part of this process and further details will follow soon.

Mid-term Holiday

Please remember that HFS will be closed next week for our mid-term holiday.

We look forward to seeing everyone again on Monday 14th November for the exciting run-up to Christmas.
